The story of Adam and Eve is one of temptation and sin.

A snake offered Eve an apple, she accepted it, took a bite, and shared the forbidden fruit with Adam. Then, the once-pure beings begin to feel shame and guilt and darkness begins to settle in. Now, picture that story as a performance piece. When dance group Zurcaroh took to the stage for their recent “America’s Got Talent” routine, they brought the wild story to life in the most incredible way.

The Austrian group was established in 2009 by Brazilian dancer and choreographer Peterson da Cruz Hora. Their performances tell stories through a mixture of dance, gymnastics, and aerobics. After Tyra Banks hit the golden buzzer during the first round of AGT auditions, the group was pushed through to the quarterfinals.
That’s where we pick up with them for their spectacular Adam and Eve performance.

Beautifully choreographed, the group retold the story of Adam and Eve in such a “breathtaking” way, as judge Mel B. said.

While the story was incredibly represented through the dancers’ choreography, the group highlighted the tale with jaw-dropping stunts like high-flying flips and acrobatics – some performed by dancers as young as 8!

But perhaps the most moving visual is the one that ends the performance:

The routine, understandably, earned Zurcaroh praise from every judge on the panel. Mel B. gushed over the costumes and storyline while Heidi Klum assured them that if “there was ever an act ready for Vegas” it was them. Even Simon Cowell was blown away and told the group that their performance was “one of the best” he had ever seen on the show.
Since the show’s airing, the group has been overwhelmed with love and support from fans.

We couldn’t agree with them more! Wonderfully, Zurcaroh was voted through to the semi-finals. We can’t wait to see what else they have up their sleeves!
