“You’re Very Wholesome.” Family’s Spin On Kansas Classic Wins Over “AGT” Audience.

This singing family delivered a different take on classic rock.

Talent certainly runs in this family! The Sharpe Family Singers returned to the “America’s Got Talent” stage with an unexpected song. While the group made an impression during their audition with a rendition of “How Far I’ll Go” from Disney’s “Moana,” this time they selected a piece with a little more grit. Their energetic take on classic rock staple “Carry on Wayward Son” by Kansas received a standing ovation from the audience!

However, not everyone was impressed by the family’s cover. Judges Howie Mandell, Sofia Vergara, and Simon Cowell all agreed that while the Sharpe Family Singers have incredible voices, rock and roll may not have been the best genre for them.

“You’re very wholesome,” said Cowell. “I think it was a terrible song choice.”

Audience members didn’t agree, heavily booing the judges’ negative comments!
