In celebration of Willie Nelson’s 90th birthday, Willie and Keith Richards teamed up to perform a powerful couple of duets at the Hollywood Bowl.
It’s hard to dream up a more iconic duo to perform at the Hollywood Bowl. Willie and Keith performed two songs together, and the crowd was overwhelmed by the incredible performance.
Willie Nelson was 90 during this performance and Keith Richards was 80! It’s an unprecedented sight to see the two of them still performing. What a fantastic gift!
They sang “We Had It All” and “Live Forever” together, seemingly reminiscing their time in the music industry.
The audience was clearly in awe, but since posting, thousands of other fans have been able to enjoy the performance.
“God bless both Willie and Keith! You bring us all comfort through your music in a world that is getting crazier by the day. Two of the greatest guitarists and songwriters ever. Happy Birthday Willie and many more!” commented one fan in celebration.
“Wonderful legends,” posted another viewer, in awe of the power of Willie Nelson and Keith Richards’ collaboration.
And these two weren’t the only stars who performed! Rosanne Cash (daughter of Johnny Cash) and Kris Kristofferson performed “Lovin’ Her Was Easier” in Willie’s honor, too.
