Allison said “Yes” to a proposal from Carson McKinney, and the date was set for May 17, 2025. Plans were set, and invitations went out. Of course, Allison’s grandma received an invitation to the wedding and reception. The invite included a plus-one, so Grandma brought her boyfriend. That set the stage.
Once the vows were over and the final kiss of union was complete, the guests began to celebrate the marriage with food, drink, laughter, and dancing. We’re not sure what happened in between, but we do know that when the song Proud Mary came on, all eyes were on Grandma and her boyfriend.

Allison’s Grandma and her boyfriend were tearing up the bricks during their dance. The caption Allison added to a short version of the video reads, “They stole the show but I ain’t mad about it.” The short clip was popular enough, but her fans wanted to see the entire video.
Grandma and her boyfriend obviously enjoyed the wedding reception. We’re not sure of his age, but at 89, Allison’s grandma is moving like a much younger woman! Without further ado, the most adorable dance video you will see today!
The song may have significance to the elder couple, or it may have just been the moment. There is no mistaking the smiles in the crowd as the couple danced. This dance invigorated every single guest. They are a living, breathing, and dancing example epitomizing the cliché, “young at heart.”
