There’s a Taylor Swift song for just about every occasion. This includes marriage proposals, of course! While there are a few that are fitting for this moment, there’s one song in particular that fans have deemed the perfect proposal song: Love Story. In fact, there is no telling how many people have gotten engaged while Swift sings this song. When this happens, the person proposing will sometimes find a sneaky way to ask someone nearby to record the moment.

That didn’t happen at the concert in the video below. Luckily for this couple, however, a nearby concertgoer happened to take notice of them. More specifically, she couldn’t help but notice the man looked nervous during Love Story. He even kept both hands in his pockets for much of the song. Wanting to be prepared if he did propose, this Swiftie recorded them… and she couldn’t be happier she did! Watch the video here.

Love Story Proposal is Caught on Camera Thanks to a Vigilant Taylor Swift Fan
As the above video shows, the couple are having a blast! While she’s wearing a purple dress, much like the one Swift wears during the show, he’s wearing a shirt with a reference to Lover, reading, “magnetic force of a man.” In case you don’t know, the whole line is worded very much like a wedding vow: “I take this magnetic force of a man to be my lover.” So, in other words, this guy was dressed perfectly for this moment!
The pure joy radiating off this newly engaged woman is priceless! It’s no wonder everyone around her bursts into thunderous applause. These sweet Love Story proposals never get old, so I can only imagine what it’s like to witness one in person!
“My wonderful, beautiful daughter and now to be son in law,” a woman named Paula Wooldridge writes in the comments. “All of her dreams wrapped up in one concert. He truly made all her dreams come true last night.”
