Horse trainers perform all types of odd jobs around a ranch. When something breaks, it needs to be fixed very soon. When the fence breaks, it becomes an all-hands effort to make repairs to keep the horses from escaping. Just because the participants don’t have hands is no reason for them not to assist in the repair.

Everyone participates in this all-hands effort. Including Jarod the rooster! The horse trainers used the trailer to pick up supplies before the repair. When they drove the trailer out to the pasture to repair the fence, it was what attracted the curious minions. They use their trailer to transport the horses to shows and competitions, so naturally, the horses all thought they were getting a ride. Jarod probably just tagged along to terrorize the trainers.
When they stopped at the fence breach, the horses climbed into the trailer to assist with unloading. Unfortunately, the horses had to come out before the fencing could come out. Although the animals thought they were being helpful, they were obstructing the repair at every step.
Maybe the horse trainers should have borrowed this farmer’s cattle dog to help them keep the nosy horses away during the fence repairs. No amount of training can prevent curious animals from exploring everything within their line of sight. They want to know everything. Unless they are kept in their stalls, they will make an appearance to “help.”
