A video on TikTok has gone viral for documenting this exact experiment with fascinating results. You might expect that putting any type of firework inside of an egg would damage the shell, but you’d be wrong. In the video, the sputtering flame works its way down the sparkler and into the egg without causing so much as a crack. Once inside, the fire doesn’t go out.
