While bride Breanna Ricker was planning her wedding, her bridesmaid came up with a silly prank. She had been waiting for her own proposal forever. She thought it would be funny to begin Breanna’s procession with a fake wedding proposal.

The prank was on schedule and perfect. The bridesmaid was paired with her real-life boyfriend for the procession. As they entered the venue holding hands, he stopped and dropped to one knee. He reached into the inside pocket of his suit, but instead of a ring, he brought out a single flower. Handing it to his girlfriend, she responded with a frustrated pouty look and some serious side-eyes. After the prank wedding proposal, they continued down the aisle to their places in front of the altar.
While the bridesmaid was busy plotting out her prank proposal, the bride and her boyfriend were plotting behind her back. When it came time for the tossing of the bouquet, Breanna held fast. She turned purposefully and walked directly to her bridesmaid.
Handing off the bouquet, Breanna gently turned her bridesmaid around to face the crowd of female attendees who had been awaiting the bouquet toss. If this were a movie, there would be some dramatic music here. After she completely turned, the crowd of women parted to reveal her boyfriend on one knee. This time, he had a real ring.
The bridesmaid was totally surprised. SHE SAID YES! Breanna was jumping and smiling as the now-engaged couple hugged to seal the deal. What begins as a silly prank goes full circle to become the stuff of major life memories. Breanna was willing to share her own special day with her bridesmaid, and it was awesome.
