This has to be the cutest thing we’ve seen all day! The Indianapolis Zoo recently shared a video of their new baby elephant’s first time outside, and the little guy clearly had a great time checking out his environment. Although he didn’t stray too far from his mother for the most part, he still ventured out to examine a few areas of their enclosure on his own. Onlookers were delighted by the tiny elephant!

“While staying close to his mom Zahara, he was very curious of his new surroundings & was excited to explore!” read the caption. “After 20 minutes of exploring with mom, he was ready for a nap.”
“How adorable is this??” wrote one commenter. “Cuteness overload!!!” Another user joked, “Annnnd… now I need an elephant.”
