Hannah and Charlie are an adventure couple. They have traveled the world in search of fun. They have also had some trials along the way. Charlie suffered a major cardiac incident, and Hannah battled cancer. Through all of that, their love for travel remains strong. While Hannah was having chemotherapy treatments, Charlie promised her a trip to see the Cappadocia balloons when she finished.
With her chemotherapy complete, the couple finally realized their goal. The promise was to “see” the hot air balloons, but Charlie went one step better. They enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime sunrise ride in a hot air balloon in Cappadocia.
With tickets in hand, the couple flew to Istanbul, Turkey. Charlie made sure that Hannah got to experience the Cappadocia balloons in the best way. There really is no comparison to seeing the balloons rise over the horizon at sunrise.

Viewing the passing landscape as the hot air balloon floats in the sky at sunrise, you can sense Hannah’s joy. The sky is full of balloons, with hundreds of people enjoying the same thing. At the same time, there is a singularity, making it seem like they are the only ones in the universe.
Charlie and Hannah have visited over 42 countries on 5 continents. However, because of the timing, successful chemotherapy and beating cancer, this trip just hits harder. It signifies an end to Hannah’s battle with cancer and a new beginning.
