Launched in March, Virtually Visiting provides immersive experiences through interactive videos. They already have six tours available on their YouTube channel with more coming soon!
“We wanted to put you right in the action, allowing you to experience tours as though you were there,” founder Jonny Cooper said. “This is about keeping the travel experience real; we meet some of the best local guides who walk us through local life to give guests the real-life experience – from their own homes.”

What makes these trips special is that each of them acts like a real vacation, offering a new experience every day! The first tour was a four-day visit to Arctic Sweden that began on April 18.

It includes a guided look at Jukkasjärvi’s Icehotel, which they describe as “an art exhibition and a hotel in one.” The fascinating structure is just what it sounds like: It’s made entirely of ice and snow!

On the final day, guests can take a dogsled ride through the Kroktask wilderness, led by Erik Hordijk of Yellow Snow Husky tours.

“As well as our new virtual holiday, we’re also working hard to add further capabilities allowing us to run live VR tours in the future, adding even more real-time interaction with guides,” Cooper said.
