“Us Through 46 Years.” Lovebirds Share Their Heartwarming Journey As An Interracial Couple.

jeri and mike

Married life can be filled with ups and downs. It’s been 46 years for Jeri and Mike, and they are as in love as they were in 1977 when they first tied the knot! The couple has a vibrant YouTube channel with 225 videos showcasing their long history together. They celebrated 46 years with several video presentations.

As part of his anniversary gift to them, their son, Ryan Wirtz, co-wrote and sang a beautiful song to commemorate his parent’s special day. The song, “Better,” is available on several music platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music. You can watch it on YouTube below.

This couple has been through a lot together. Their marriage began with a lopsided wedding cake, and they feared that it would topple during the ceremony. Being an interracial couple, they have undoubtedly had struggles resulting from that. Interracial marriages had only been legal for ten years when they fell in love.

They haven’t let anything stop them from enjoying each other and raising beautiful children. When they go out, and Mike doesn’t feel like dancing, Jeri grabs another partner and has a blast! Mike is retired. They are both cancer survivors. Their children are grown and have children of their own. This couple is relishing each moment as they age gracefully. It’s all about grandchildren now! When you find “the one,” hold onto them tight!
