UPS Driver Creates Holiday Magic For Little Boy: “I’m Santa’s Helper.”

A little boy runs across the street to greet the UPS driver.

One UPS driver decided to spread some holiday cheer during his route by telling an excited toddler that he’s “Santa’s helper.” According to WVIT, Frank Sims was delivering packages to a home in Meriden, Connecticut, when the family’s dog nearly escaped. Once he’d helped the residents wrangle the pooch back inside, he had an adorable conversation with their son, which was captured on their doorbell camera. Owen, almost three, voiced his appreciation for the driver’s service in the sweetest way.

“Thank you,” he shouted to Frank, as he was getting back into his truck. “I love you.”

Next, the little boy ran over to the delivery man and gave him a hug! Frank was so overwhelmed by Owen’s kindness that he wanted to brighten the child’s day, too. So, the UPS driver told him that, as Santa’s helper, he’d talk to the big guy on the boy’s behalf.

“I will sent a message to Santa,” said Frank. “‘Cause I’m Santa’s helper when he’s really busy.”

Owen’s mom, Lillian May, was touched by the driver’s sweet words to her son. So, she decided to share the doorbell camera footage with the world!
