U.S. Gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik Reveals The Touching Reason For His Signature “Ear Tug”

Stephen Nedoroscik smiles as he tugs on his ear

It’s safe to say that it’s been a pretty fantastic week for the U.S. gymnastics teams. There’s the women’s team, of course, which include the likes of Simone Biles. But on the men’s team, an unexpected star is quickly on the rise. His name is Stephen Nedoroscik. At 25 years old, this is his very first time competing at the Olympics, only adding to the pressure, I’m sure. To top it off, he was given one very specific task: To pull off the best pommel horse possible.

So, what started out as solely a gesture for his grandpa has transformed into something even more. How thoughtful!

“I’ve kept the tradition up and now it always means, ‘Hey,’ to everyone that I love,” Nedoroscik shares.

The love that Nedoroscik still has for his late Grandpa is oh-so sweet. What a fantastic way to keep his memory alive! There’s no doubt that he’d be immensely proud of Nedoroscik and all that he’s done!

“He’s more precious than all the gold in Paris,” one fan writes in the comment section of the above video, with another adding, “We love him! So proud of you Stephen and the US Men’s gymnastics team!!”
