To say the little girl in the video below is disappointed by her mom’s gender reveal is something of an understatement.
Perhaps she spent the previous months fantasizing about a playmate who would wear a princess dress matching her own and with whom she could have tea parties. Maybe it’s just that– to a 2-year-old girl– boys are gross.
Whatever the reason, when the adorable toddler in the video below found out her mom was pregnant with a baby boy, her little world was sent into a steep spiral. At least, until someone said something about brownies.

“It’s, it’s, it’s a girl today!”she says with exasperation upon hearing the news.
“No, you’re having a brother!”a cheerful off-camera voice exclaims.
“It’s not a brother todaaaay!”she insists. “No it’s not!â€

“I don’t! I, I want a sister!â€
There’s just no convincing her.

Mom can’t help but laugh at the tantrum, but when she sees her little girl is heading toward a meltdown, she shuts it down with 4 words: “Alright … Wanna have some brownies?â€
