Dad Proudly Shares Trick For Boiling Spaghetti & It’s Simply Genius

It’s an age-old problem. We need to boil spaghetti noodles, but they don’t always fit perfectly into the pot we have. Some people break the noodles in half. Some people buy short noodles that are already “broken” in half. One dad has a spaghetti boiling trick that works for any size pot by spreading the noodles evenly in the boiling water to avoid clumping.

Dad’s trick is to gather your dry pasta noodles and place one end in the pot. While holding the noodles, place your other hand flat on the top of the bundle. Apply light pressure with the palm of your hand and twist. Continue this twisting motion until all the noodles fan out equally in the pot.

This spaghetti boiling trick works equally well with a smaller pot, as shown in a follow-up video. No more breaking noodles or paying extra for the short ones.

In addition to his hacks for spaghetti noodles, he has a hack for putting a pillow case on a pillow. Although no one wants to admit it, we have all struggled with that task a time or two.

He begins by laying out the pillow and pillow case. Grabbing the pillowcase, he turns it inside out. He puts both arms inside the pillowcase, grasping the two corners. Then he picks up the pillow by the corners and flips the pillowcase right-side out. One more quick flip, and the pillow is all the way in the pillowcase with no fighting.
