In a viral TikTok video, the sweet little 2-year-old asks her baby sister to be her friend, but the darn thing just lies there sleeping. Then she tells her mom she tried to ask her baby sister to be her friend, but her baby sister didn’t respond. Her mom explains that she is her friend, but that she just can’t talk yet. This clearly did not help, and the 2-year-old might be writing off the baby forever.
The video has hundreds of comments supporting the 2-year-old’s frustration with her baby sister.
“She said this feels like a one way relationship,” someone joked.
“My daughter said ‘mummy let’s grow up Aiden now so he can play with me,’” a mom recalled of her children.
Others left her words of encouragement for the future.
“Don’t worry baby you will have a lifetime to talk to each other,” someone suggested.
“One day, your little sister will start talking and she won’t ever stop. Cherish the silence now,” another commentd joked.
