Some people were just born to dance!
Three-year-old Zoe Surrell of Orlando, Florida was out to dinner with her family recently when she saw Irish step dancers in action. The fearless child didn’t hesitate to jump onto the dance floor to try to imitate the lighter-than-air dancers, so her parents decided to sign her up for step dancing lessons at Finnegan Academy of Irish Dance. Months later, Zoe was ready for her first performance in front of a crowd – and she crushed it!
Not only did Zoe dance beautifully, she looked so adorable in her traditional outfit that she wound up stealing the entire show. As the other dancers smiled at the tiny girl, Zoe took center stage to show off her fancy footwork. The crowd couldn’t stop smiling! When mom Meghan Surrell shared the video online, it instantly went viral with over 5 million views. Now, Zoe is in demand nationwide, and Meghan is fielding interview requests left and right.
“All of a sudden it just kind of blew up,” mom said with a laugh. “I had people asking, ‘When is she dancing next? I want to come see her!’ So I had to start her her own Instagram page.”
