Three Little Girls’ Iconic Tribute To Diane Keaton Is A Must-See

Diane Keaton Halloween

Erica Jaffe Meyer is a mom to three young girls and a huge Diane Keaton fan. When Diane died suddenly in early October, Erica wanted to pay tribute to one of her favorite stars. With Halloween just a few weeks away, Erica had a brilliant idea. She created an ode to the First Wives Club featuring Diane Keaton, Bette Midler, and Goldie Hawn, featuring her girls Ivy, 2, Hazel, 4, and Hildy, almost 6. This is a tribute that Diane would have adored.

“Unfortunately, we lost an icon this month. I watched the movie and kind of grew up on Diane Keaton movies, as a 90s kid. So when everybody was posting the iconic dance scene from the movie. I’d watched it like a dozen times, then I was like, ‘Wait a minute. There’s three of them. I have three kids. Can I pull this off with a costume?’ They love dancing and all that,” Erica told People.

The Loss Of Diane Keaton, So Close To Halloween, Inspired The Costume

Erica told People she didn’t anticipate her Halloween video to go viral, but Diane Keaton’s passing broke many hearts.

“With the timing of the unfortunate loss and the nostalgia around that moment, I think it just clicked. I think there’s been this need for everybody to want to love something, and all the comments were so positive, which is such a rare thing to see online these days,” she notes, adding, “It’s been so heartwarming to see this bringing everybody so much joy.”

Diane Keaton fans adored this Halloween tribute.

“Sorry, but now they have to do this every year until they’re 18. I don’t make the rules,” a fan suggested.

“Beyond cute. Mini Bette Midler was in true character….just doing whatever made her happy,” another person wrote.

We agree with this person 100%. Diane would have danced right along.

“Diane Keaton would be so fricking PROUD,” a fan cheered.
