For decades, storm chasers have been sharing some of the most breathtaking footage you could imagine. That said, as technology improves, the videos and images we get from them only get more and more breathtaking. That has never felt truer than when watching one of the many videos that capture a breathtaking tornado in South Dakota.

This year has proven to be quite an active tornado season. And yet, despite all the footage we’ve gotten, this video out of South Dakota is unlike any other. It’s so stunning, in fact, I’ll go ahead and preface by saying that this video is not AI. This has been proven, in part, because of similar footage being shared by news sites. Now, without further ado, check out this unreal-looking tornado!

“That is like the cleanest tornado I have ever seen,” someone shares in reply to Ty’s video. Other commenters add, “First tornado I’ve seen that actually looks beautiful and not terrifying” and “You captured a tornado having a baby or something.”

If you’re wondering how on Earth a tornado can look like that, you’re not alone. That said, there seems to be a consensus of what’s going on. When we see tornadoes, most of the time, there’s already tons of debris caught up in it. This tornado, on the contrary, seems to have little to no visible debris.
It’s truly no wonder that Ty says, “I’ll remember this one for the rest of my life.”
