This Jumping Spider Loves When His Human Mom Sings To Him.

Today is the day we learned that spiders can not only be loving pets, but they also enjoy music. A social media influencer named Tiana Gayton proved that this week when she posted a video of herself singing to one of her favorite jumping spiders.

Tiana runs social media pages about “spiders, bugs, and ‘little things'” and she has a massive following. The arachnid-whisperer has over 2 million followers on YouTube alone, and it’s no surprise why. She has a group of friendly spiders who live and interact with her, and if she didn’t post video proof, we’d never believe her.

In a recent post, she showcased how her spider named Boxer appreciates music. According to a clip, jumping spiders can’t actually hear anything because they don’t have ears. Instead, they feel vibrations.

So when she introduced Boxer to her followers, and he decided to climb her arms and rest near her face, Tiana thought it was the perfect time to sing him a tune, and she chose Edelweiss from The Sound of Music.

“They love gentle songs due to the warmth and vibration of our voices,” she continued.

After watching, we have to admit—the spider clearly enjoys it when his mom sings to him. He gets closer and faces her and she shows off her beautiful voice. He even lets her give him a little kiss.
