Not only did the two men check “yes” to their question, they even took the time to write their very own note back: “To the lovely ladies of 507, consider us officially friends. Notes are fun, texting us is quicker … emergency purposes only, obviously. With love, the men of 507.”

Before this friendship could move forward, the ladies needed clarity on what constitutes as an “emergency.” The men’s answer? Priceless!

At this point, you might assume the four of them started to text… and you’d almost be right. Turns out, the ladies texted the wrong number, somehow. So they returned with yet another note. This time, they invited the men to text them first. They did, and now there’s no telling what the future holds! All we know is that it started with a bouquet of flowers.

It’ll likely come as no surprise that lots of strangers online are rooting for romance to bloom. And while that certainly would be amazing, it’s just as heartwarming to see such a beautiful start to an unexpected friendship!
