This is Not A Drill: McDonald’s is Bringing Back This Fan-Favorite Menu Item!

McDonald's Fried Apple Pie

Is there anything more American than the apple pie? Maybe. But if you take apple pie and deep fry that baby, there’s no denying its red, white, and blue roots. McDonald’s removed the Fried Apple Pie from its menu more than 30 years ago, and plenty of people have never forgiven Ronald and his pals for what they consider the ultimate betrayal. Sure, the McDonald’s apple pies are still delicious, but nothing beats the nostalgic taste of the molten-hot filling and the extra crispy crust. In honor of America’s 250th birthday celebration, McDonald’s will reintroduce the Fried Apple Pie, and people are going crazy!

McDonald’s Fried Apple Pie Will Be Here Soon

Instagram fast-food connoisseur Snackolator shared the huge news.

“McDonald’s is ringing in America’s 250th with the return of FRIED Apple Pie and it’s dropping in two weeks! Starting June 22nd, you’ll be able to FINALLY get that crispy, flaky FRIED Apple Pie from @mcdonalds for a limited time! While these are available you won’t be able to get the current baked apple pie, but who would choose baked over fried anyway?! Are you excited to grab a fried apple pie from McDonald’s with some soft serve on the side?!” Snackolator shared.

Fans cannot wait to sink their teeth into a McDonald’s Fried Apple Pie after decades without the sweet treat.

“Omg that was my favorite of all times,” someone wrote.

Others just want the pie to be on the McDonald’s menu from here on out. “Make it permanent! I don’t go to McDonald’s to feel good about myself,” someone suggested.

It didn’t get past many that this is about the most patriotic thing McDonald’s could do right now.

“THIS IS THE AMERICA I KNOWWWWW AND LOVE!!!’ Someone joked.
