When technology failed her, Tina Gunn found help in the form of a football player.

Tina and her son were on their way back home after he had a track meet in Minnesota when, suddenly, they realized they had a flat tire. There’s never a good time for this to happen, but it certainly wasn’t ideal on an Iowa interstate where getting a phone signal was impossible. Luckily, help from an unexpected stranger came just in time, and Tina was happy to thank him in a post she made on Facebook.

Talk about being in the right place at the right time! Rather than having to spend hours waiting on the side of the road to be rescued, Tina and her son were able to get their tire changed in no time – and by an Iowa Hawkeye football player, no less!

Tina’s Facebook post already has over 6,000 shares and counting. Zach Twedt didn’t intend to do this for attention, but in having this moment shared, he’s reminding us all that acts of kindness like this happen around us each and every day. Thank you, Zach!

Don’t forget to share Tina’s heartwarming encounter with Zach to cheer up a friend.
