Did you know that it only takes four basic colors to create a realistic portrait of a human face? TikTok painter Safeyah Aljabouri put this theory to the test in a series of two videos. In the first one, she created one half of a woman’s portrait using only black, white, yellow, and red. She combined the four paints into every color she would need to recreate a photo-realistic face. The results were pretty amazing!
In her second video, Safeyah finished the other half of the painting using as many colors as she wanted. Then, she asked her followers to decide which palette they preferred. Although both sides of the image were beautiful, most of her commenters wrote that they liked the four-color palette better!
