According to American Songwriter, she toured with his band, New Power Generation, for five years. During that time, he helped her sharpen her talents. He even produced and wrote songs for her solo album, The Unexpected!
2. She has released several solo albums including The Unexpected.
Before working with Prince on The Unexpected, Liv Warfield released a 2006 album titled Embrace Me. In 2023, she came out with The Edge, which is where you’ll find the song that earned her a Golden Buzzer on “America’s Got Talent.”
3. In 2014, she earned the Soul Train Music Award for Best Contemporary Jazz Performance.
