Chioma Narcisse-Williams is only 8 years old, but he’s teaching folks of all ages why it’s so important to follow your dreams. Member of The Atlanta Drum Academy, this talented kid let Terry Crews in on a secret before their audition: He had a dream of this exact moment before. In this dream, not only did his drumming group make it onto the show, they earned the coveted Golden Buzzer.

The energy from Chioma and the rest of his crew was contagious as they hyped themselves up for their big moment. When it was finally their turn, Chioma went out first to introduce them. His confidence was replaced with a bit of shyness, but any stage fright he may have felt alone melted away the moment his friends joined him. Together, they captivated the audience with their impressive skills!

When it came time for the judges to vote, there was no doubt that they’d all give a resounding “yes!” But the judges actually didn’t get a chance to officially cast their vote. Instead, Crews walked out onto the stage with an important announcement.

“There is no need to vote!” Crews said, interrupting Simon Cowell. “No need! Chioma told me backstage that you dreamed of being on ‘AGT’ and getting a Golden Buzzer – now, Chioma and The Atlanta Drum Academy, I am honored to make that dream come true!”

The pure joy and shock on the faces of those talented drummers not only had everyone cheering, but in tears, as they watched their dreams come true right before their eyes.
