“The Voice” Winner Huntley Sings Private John Mayer Cover For Homeless Families.

Huntley, latest winner of "The Voice," closes his eyes as he sits on a couch, plays a guitar, and sings for homeless families in Loisann's Hope House.

Huntley has proven himself to be a talented musician, as seen by his successful run on The Voice, but this rising star is doing more with his newfound fame than making incredible music. Recently, Huntley found himself back home in Fredericksburg, Virginia — here, he met with local homeless families.

According to the organization’s website, they are the region’s oldest and largest family homeless shelter — they opened in 1987. They aim to provide assistance to those without a home. To show his support, Huntley made a surprise visit. While there, he put on a private performance.

As you can imagine, the families at Loisann’s Hope House were thrilled by this surprise visit. In fact, the shelter says that “the smiles on their faces said it all.”

“We are so proud of you Huntley, and everything you’ve done for our community,” the organization continues. “We’re excited for what’s to come and thank you for choosing to give hope to the next generation and encouraging them to dream BIG!”

Meanwhile, Huntley couldn’t be more honored to offer any help he can to the homeless families in his hometown.

“I know what it’s like to be a struggling parent,” Huntley shares. “… if there’s anything I can do to help, I’m here to help, and I’m going to do it.”
