“The Voice” Brings Back Blake Shelton for 30th Season Celebration

Blake Shelton The Voice

When “The Voice” began in April 2011, it changed reality TV competition shows forever. Instead of looks, the coaches blindly chose their teams based on how they sing. If more than one person turns their chair during a performance, then the contestant chooses who they want to coach them all the way to the top. Coaches have changed in the show’s 29 seasons thus far, but for the very first season, it was Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, and CeeLo Green. Those first four coaches made a lot of memories and started careers.

“The Voice” Was Very Good to Blake Shelton

Not only is Blake Shelton the winningest coach in “The Voice” history, but he also had a very personal win while working on the show. Blake met Gwen Stefani, and the pair are now married. “The Voice” returns on September 21, 2026, for its historic 30th season. Ahead of the show, NBC teased a special that includes Blake Shelton, who left the show in May 2023 after 23 seasons.

Fans are thirsting for more of the country star.

The Instagram post’s caption teased, “We’re ready to break the internet.”

“Omg is he coming back? The voice is not the voice without him,” someone asked.

“Oh my gosh. I with he was back as a coach. He was my favourite coach & I miss him. It’s never been the same #miss you Blake,” a fan wrote.

“The King of the voice , the one and Only , Blake Shelton,” another fan agreed.

This person wants more originals. “Blake and Adam the very best.!! Gwen so awesome too,” they wrote.

Blake Shelton likely isn’t coaching for “The Voice” season 30 as the show announced the return of Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine, plus Queen Latifah and Riley Green.

We can’t wait to see what they’re up to.
