We’re all familiar with water parks, but have you ever heard of a secret waterslide leading into an underground swimming pool?
Well, now you have! On “The Survival” YouTube page, you can find a seemingly endless list of underground tunnels, pools, houses, and more — and each one is handmade. But in this particular video, two men manage to make a functioning waterslide out of materials like dirt and bamboo, and they finish everything in just two weeks.
But they don’t stop there! Their underground spa includes earth-made couches and several candlelit alcoves. As a final touch, they fashion a bamboo chute to funnel water into their underground pool, completing their incredible homemade waterslide.
While you have to be willing to inch your way out of the slide using just your muscles and determination, from what we can tell, the experience is worth the effort! If anyone is ever lucky enough to travel across Cambodia to find this secret location, please do send us your latitude and longitude.
Until then, we’ll just be here marveling over this architectural genius. Watch everything come together in the video below, and don’t forget to share the innovative brilliance.
