Inventor Tim Jahnigen and his wife Lisa Tarver are changing lives all over the world with their brilliant creation, the One World Futbol. Since the company’s inception in July of 2010, over 15 million youth have been positively impacted through the healing power of play with the One World Futbol.

Jahnigen designed the ball with the harsh environments of refugee camps and disadvantaged communities in mind. The One World Futbol is comprised of a molecularly altered elastomer and has no air bladder, enabling it to withstand rough surfaces and even punctures. A single One World Futbol can outlast several traditional soccer balls by years.
The impact stories seem to flood the One World Futbol Project’s blog. Pictured below are the children of River of Hope, a non-profit organization that aims to free families from the cycle of poverty in the Republic of Congo. This organization and it’s kids received 200 One World Futbols with pure joy!

It goes to show, a little (or a lot) of ingenuity and a whole lot of passion can go a long way to making a difference in our world. To stay up to date with the One World Futbol and it’s progress–follow them on Facebook.
