“Sabrina The Teenage Witch” The Reunion We Didn’t Know We Needed
Entertainment Weekly detailed how the three stars finally reunited. In appropriate Halloween fashion, Melissa Joan Hart and her two TV aunts, Caroline Rhea and Beth Broderick, were “exploring the city of Edinburgh and enjoying a meal at the aptly named The Witchery Hotel.”
Melissa shared a reel on her Instagram, documenting the glorious occasion.
She captioned the post with, “We had a lovely dinner @thewitcheryedin and I even got my beloved ciabatta bread! Thanks to Oliver for the tour of the property and taking such great care of this silly coven.”
Fans were just as excited to see these three together again as they were. One user commented, “I would have DIED if I’d seen you 3 wandering the streets 😍🥹.” Another user shared, “My childhood. These pics make me happy. ❤️.” A third fan even had a wonderful idea about how the three could stay together. They suggested, “Hear me out: a travel show where you three just go around looking at witchy historical shit then eating really good food (ie: bread).”
These Cast Mates Really Love One Another
While this witchy meeting was the perfect get-together, it was not the first time these three have reunited. Sabrina The Teenaged Witch aired from 1996 to 2003, with a brief comeback in 2020. Even after filming concluded, the actresses kept in touch.
The Sabrina The Teenage Witch cast often got together over the years. Also, there were big events like when Entertainment Weekly “reunited them for the show’s 15th anniversary back in 2017.” Melissa Joan Hart also met up with her two witchy aunts in 2023 at the annual 90s Con.
While Melissa loved starring in Sabrina The Teenage Witch, she admitted that she didn’t always connect to her role. She revealed to PEOPLE, “Not only was [Sabrina] younger than me, she didn’t want attention. She wanted to be the wallflower.”
Melissa continued, “She didn’t know what to do with these magical abilities. She felt very lost, and other people were trying to help her solve it.” One thing she did love just like the rest of us was her two incredible aunts.
Beth even mentioned that she still has young women coming up to her and thanking her.
She shared what one fan said. “You were my childhood. You’re like my second mom. I listened to your advice when I was 9, and you were right.” We are so happy that these three got together. May they continue to inspire people and remind them of the good old Sabrina The Teenage Witch days.
