Musician Turns Cockatiel’s Vocals Into The Catchiest Song We’ve Ever Heard.

The kiffness duet with Ginger the Cockatiel

Fair warning: the song in this story is guaranteed to get stuck in your head, but in the best way possible!

Since 2011, David Scott of Cape Town, South Africa has been producing electronic music under the band name The Kiffness. While Raiven Hansmann and Mathew Gold join him for live shows, he is most well known for the videos he started making in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. These videos take snippets of viral animal videos and set them to music.

Ginger the cockatiel is the latest internet animal to get The Kiffness treatment. The bird’s adorable head-bopping and chirping inspired a “club anthem” he calls “Kookee Kookee.” Surprisingly, this song is no joke – it’s a total bop that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face!

“The song had a supernatural ability to cure any sadness for you and me,” David sings in the song, and we couldn’t agree more! We’ll be humming this anthem all day.
