“We can’t keep it in stock,” Sarah Shmyr, owner of Dressed Up by Bella Mia in Plymouth, Michigan, told Today. “Every day, I get phone calls asking about the dress, but unfortunately, it’s a little too late — they’re all spoken for.”
Merrick Young, a senior from San Angelo, Texas, saw the Sherri Hill prom dress on TikTok and knew it fit all her wants and needs for prom. She acted quickly, not balking at the $750 price tag, and snagged one for herself.
“You know, at first I was open to the idea of selling it, but now I don’t think I could ever get rid of it — even if I never wear it again,” Lauren told Today. “I just love it too much.”

Fans positively love it, even those who aren’t going to prom, like this woman, who joked, “I’m dying for this dress and I’m 31 and prom was 11 years ago I’d wear it washing the dishes!”
