After many wonderful years together, Dan’s wife started to suffer from Alzheimer’s. Even though this has caused her to not be able to remember anything about her past, that hasn’t stopped him from visiting her – especially on their 66th anniversary.
Much to Dan’s surprise, his wife was able to recognize him, something one of her nurses felt confident would happen. With joy in her voice, she began to call him, “my precious Dan.”
“That’s my Dan!” she added.
