When Teresa Tatlock and Terrell Stinson came into each other’s lives, it seemed like fate. The 58-year-olds had both lost their partners to cancer, and being together not only eased their grief, but it also helped them find love again!
That’s why it didn’t take long for Terrell to realize he wanted Teresa to be his bride. So, with blessings from her three children, he brought Teresa to her favorite spot at North Carolina’s Holden Beach in June. There, her granddaughter Kaylynn “found” a stunning conch shell and handed it to Teresa as their excited family members watched in anticipation.
When Teresa grabbed the shell, she realized a small note was tucked inside. Terrell sneaked up behind her as she read the words, “I love you! Will you marry me?” She turned around to find him on one knee — and shed tears of joy!
Grab some tissues before you watch the adorable proposal in the video below, and share this story to congratulate these lovebirds.
