Jack Sock is a 23-year-old tennis superstar. The American pro player is currently on the ATP Tour and won the 2014 Wimbledon title in mixed doubles as well as the same title for the 2011 US Open.
He’s young but his accolades are nothing short of incredible.
But it’s not just his amazing talent that has gotten him so far. Sock has displayed his amazing character in several instances. This one being an incredible show of sportsmanship against an opponent right in the middle of a match.
After a serve was called “out,” Sock did the unthinkable: he challenged the serve, knowing it was in. Sounds normal, right? But what’s so incredible is that he was not the one serving. If he was right, he would lose the point! He simply wanted to do what was right, even at his own cost.
His respect for the game is refreshing.
