Teen’s Heartwarming Duet With Her Down Syndrome Brother Is Too Wonderful For Words.

If ever there was a reason to celebrate life, this girl and her little brother offer the perfect example.  1 in 700 kids are born every year with down syndrome, and the world is a brighter place because of them. They are some of the happiest, most grateful and beautiful souls that walk on this earth among us.

When Leah Kirwan uploaded a video to Facebook of her singing a duet with her little brother, she had no idea the perspective and encouragement they would give the world. Here are Leah’s thoughts on her brother’s condition.

Here are Leah’s thoughts on her brother’s condition.

“When I meet new people and tell them my brother has Downs Syndrome most of them react with: “Oh I’m so sorry to hear thatâ€. Please don’t be! I’m 25 years now and I don’t know life any other way. Sure it’s been hard some times but he is my brother and I love him to the moon and back. I wouldn’t be without him. He is my biggest fan and my best friend — that’s the way it’s always been. He has taught me so many things and has a huge impact on the person I’m today.”

Listen below as Leah and her little brother cover his favorite song “Titanium”by David Guetta and Sia. It’s really beautiful to see the joy and enthusiasm that music and a kind heart can bring.

Share and spread some much needed joy with the world!
