A car hit Ashley, causing serious injuries. Thankfully, she survived, but she has a long road to recovery. Loved ones created a GoFundMe to help with her medical bills, which caught the eye of Taylor Swift. The newlywed decided to help Ashley and made a huge donation.

Taylor Swift Gave $50,000 to Ashley’s GoFundMe
Something about Ashley’s story touched Taylor Swift’s heart, and she generously gave $50,000 to the GoFundMe to aid with her recovery.
“Ashley is a woman of deep, unwavering faith who loves her Lord and Savior with all her heart. We know that God was watching over her on that highway, and we trust in His power to heal her now,” a message on the fundraiser reads.
Ashley told People that her life changed in the most profound way on the day of the accident. She had no idea at the time, but the driver of the car was actually the son of a friend she hadn’t seen in years. Ashley said that from now on, she’s living every day to the fullest because tomorrow may not come.
“Life is very busy, and it’s easy to postpone plans like, especially with friends and loved ones,” she said. “I don’t want to do that anymore. I want to make sure that I am taking time, even if it’s just going to grab a coffee with a friend, because we never know how you’re going to leave this earth.”
