Taylor Swift Changes Profile Photos Before Grammys, Swifties Light Up The Internet With Reactions

Taylor Swift Grammys

Taylor Swift silently changed her social media profile pictures to black and white just ahead of the Grammys. So get ready Swifties. Something’s coming.

The 34-year-old songstress is heading into the awards ceremony tonight with six nominations—and possibly a huge announcement.

You see, Taylor likes to drop easter eggs just before she makes a big move. A few days ago, her inner circle of friends changed their profile pictures to a grey scale. Then today, Taylor did the same. The last time she did that was when she released Reputation in 2017.

Following that album, Taylor Swift had a falling out with her former record label, Big Machine, which was bought out by Ithaca Holdings. When she left, the company got to keep the rights to all her songs, which she wrote. It continues to profit from her work. So she has been re-recording and re-releasing her music with slight tweaks to regain control of her creative property.

With everything that’s happened today, Swifties are putting the pieces together, and they’re hopeful that their favorite songstress is about to drop the “Taylor version” of Reputation. And they think she might share the news during the Grammy Awards.

Fans Will Hopefully Have Answers When Taylor Swift Attends the Grammys Tonight

“Her profile picture is black and white, the original reputation announcement is perfectly framed on the grid,” a Swiftie shared on X. “I regret to inform you all that I’m delulu and we’re definitely getting a reputation announcement from Taylor Swift tonight at the [Grammys].”

“Today is a good day for revenge,” another fan wrote.

“Taylor Swift making the [Grammys] day all about herself with just a profile picture change is so reputation-coded,” added a proud Swiftie.

“Taylor Swift is really about to ask people to meet her at midnight one more time at the GRAMMYs and then post the Reputation TV cover art with the caption ‘There will be no further explanation…’ and no release date because you never know when a snake will strike…” shared another.

Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long to find out if the speculations are right! The 66th annual Grammy Awards kick off tonight (Feb. 4) at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. Here’s to hoping!
