Cows have actually been known to appreciate musical entertainment in a variety of different forms. For example, when this woman decided to start singing to a field full of these animals, they loved it. In fact, they gathered in droves to hear her! The same thing happened when this 11-year-old girl played a tune on her flute for a much smaller group of cattle.

Apparently, music can be very good for cows! A scientific article titled The Effect of Music on Livestock: Cattle, Poultry and Pigs tells us that “music can be used to enrich the living environment of livestock.” However, you have to be careful about what genres you play for these animals. Hard rock and heavy metal can stress them out! It’s also worth noting that cows need their quiet time, as well.
