Stranger Offers To Photograph Woman’s Elderly Rescue Greyhound & Their Interaction Is Moving Beyond Words

As a professional dog photographer, Robin adores canines of all breeds and sizes. He loves them so much, in fact, he’ll sometimes work for free. Best of all, he offers these free photoshoots to total strangers! It must be difficult to decide who gets this special offer, but it’s clear his method is working — because it’s what led him to this elderly rescue greyhound.

For years, this sweet 14-year-old dog named Hattie was treated poorly. Thankfully, she was rescued by her elderly owner. Together, the two of them have the best times, even as Hattie nears the end of her life. So, when Robin offered to take free photos of them, she was absolutely floored. Witness this precious interaction, and the results of the photoshoot, in the video below.

“[Hattie’s] elegance, loyalty, and calm spirit still shine through, even as she nears the end of her life…” Robin writes in the caption of his post. “It was a privilege to take these pictures and to be trusted with their story.”

Needless to say, it was oh-so-kind of Robin to take these photos for free. As always, he emailed the edited versions of these images so that Hattie’s owner could have them for herself. That said, this sweet pair touched Robin so deeply, he decided to offer them something even more… free prints, too!

Needless to say, Hattie’s owner continues to be blown away by the kindness Robin (and the viewers of his video) have shown them. Hattie herself is grateful, too…

“I am happy to report that Hattie is still with us after some ups and downs, so it was great to be able to surprise them both with these,” he shares. “Hattie’s owner is incredibly overwhelmed by all your kind messages for her and Hattie and would like me to pass on a massive thank you from her.”
