Sonic announced a new slushie flavor on March 11 that has people in a tailspin. The Strawberry Horchata Cream Slush brings together big flavor with a smooth finish, with real strawberries and cinnamon-spiced horchata syrup.

“Each sip delivers cool creaminess up front, warm cinnamon notes through the middle, and fruity finish for a flavor experience that feels comforting and refreshing,” Sonic shared in a news release.
Sonic Seems Very Excited About the New Slushie
Sonic loves to try new flavors, and slushies are always a hit with customers.
“At SONIC, we love taking sweet flavors and giving them a fresh, fun twist our guests can’t find anywhere else,” Barbara Williams, Vice President of Culinary Innovation & Category Management at SONIC shared in a release. “We stayed true to the authentic, cinnamon-spiced flavors commonly found in horchata while introducing refreshing strawberry for a cool, craveable drink that feels just unexpected enough and perfect for spring.”
The Strawberry Horchata Cream Slush will drop in mid-March for SONIC App users. Starting March 16, they can purchase a 20-oz Strawberry Horchata Cream Slush for $3.99. The new Sonic slushie will be available nationwide beginning on March 23.
