“So You Think You Can Dance” Winner Anthony Curley’s Final Solo Was Absolutely Jaw-Dropping.

So you think you can dance

Anthony Curely’s So You Think You Can Dance final solo was so powerfully moving that it earned him the Season 18 championship.

The 19-year-old took the stage on May 20th with the hopes of edging out the equally talented runner-up winner, Dakayla Wilson. Dakayla put on a stunning performance, but she couldn’t compete with Anthony’s shockingly perfect routine.

Anthony crafted his final solo around Aaryan Shah’s Better Alone—and his routine was so powerful that it left him with bleeding feet.

As Anthony moved through the lyrics, he showed strength, elegance, technique, and talent. He also added jaw-dropping aerobatic moves that made the crowd erupt with gasps and cheers.

“You asked him to do a solo….” host Kat Deeley told judges said after Anthony completed his performance. “Lordy, Lordy.”

Following the So You Think You Can Dance finale, the cheers continued in the comments.

“Congratulations Anthony! You are a beautiful dancer, a good son, and a hard worker,” a fan wrote. “I enjoyed watching you this season on SYTYCD! Good luck in your career.”

“I was drawn to Anthony all season.. he was a stand out to me… ” added another.

“He put everything into this,” shared a commenter. “And you felt everything he was expressing.”

When Anthony Curely was crowned the winner, he earned a $100,000 prize. Watch the Top 2 dancers’ entire final performances here!
