Sneaky Weatherman Delights Viewers With References To Songs And Movies In His Forecasts.

A two-photo collage. The first shows a weatherman smiling with text that reads “challenge accepted.” The second photo shows that same weatherman giving a forecast. He’s showing a chart of the expected temperatures for the week. Text under this image reads what he said: “Easy come, easy go, little high, little low.”

Adam Krueger isn’t like other meteorologists – he’s a cool meteorologist. In case you missed it, that was a reference to the movie “Mean Girls,” the exact kind of homage this Houston weatherman makes all the time. In fact, he’s garnered quite a following online over the skillful way he’s able to sneak in even the most random of references to songs and movies alike.

We’re not sure how or why Adam began to challenge himself in this way, but we’re so glad he did. He started off rogue, choosing the songs and movies himself. But then he began to share clips of his on-air reports and, before he knew it, folks from all around the world began to give him requests – and he was more than happy to take them.

Although many of Adam’s challenges, as he calls them, are popular with fans, one that did particularly well was “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Who knew that lyrics from Queen could fit so seamlessly into your average weather forecast?

Considering the fact that Adam is a meteorologist for Houston, Texas, it only makes sense that he would try and fit as many Beyoncé references as possible, considering this is the icon’s hometown.

“But this weekend is looking so good, I like it,” Adam said. “So I’m gonna put a ring on.”

Adam has many Taylor Swift songs to choose from, but with the popularity of “Anti-Hero” off of her album, “Midnights,” it only makes sense that this mastermind of a weatherman would choose a song that declares, “I’m the problem, it’s me.”

Not that anyone actually has any problems with his delightful antics – from his co-workers to viewers both local and otherwise, so many folks love to see what he’ll pull off next. But songs aren’t the only way he chooses to covertly express himself.

After much persistence from one fan in particular, Adam took on the challenge of quoting the beloved movie, “The Princess Bride.” Inconceivable? Think again!

Considering the 2000s-classic “Mean Girls” includes a meteorologist reference, it only makes sense that Adam would try and reference the film as much as he could.

Needless to say, just like the every other challenge he’s taken on, this one was a success.

Whether or not Adam references a song or movie someone loves, or one they’re not familiar with, his ability to add humor into his job has the power to bring smiles to folks all around the world. What a fun way to make the world a bit brighter!
