When Metallica held a concert at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California they noticed an odd guest. Metallica has been touring with their M72 concert series and SoFi Stadium was a scheduled tour stop that would end up being a bit different from the norm because of one odd situation… The odd situation in question? A dog crashed the Metallica show, and loved it!
This gate crasher has a couple of extra legs and always wears a fur coat. Her name is Storm and she lives with her human family near the stadium. Apparently, she snuck out, made her way to the concert, and found an available seat.
The concert had a record-breaking crowd of more than 80,000 fans. Some rumors claim that Storm was brought into the concert, but the band reassures fans, “Despite reports to the contrary, our friend Storm snuck out of her home adjacent to @SoFiStadium and made her way to the gig all by herself.” After listening to the concert, Storm was returned to her family safely the next day.
We’re sure that Storm thoroughly enjoyed the concert, as she remained politely in her seat the entire time. It’s not every day a dog gets the chance to crash a Metallica show!
