His sneaky daughter had managed to grab the shirt and was holding it as her dad wandered around, trying to find it. Her grin says it all. She is guilty of being the shirt thief and has zero remorse for her actions. The smug smile on her tiny face might even show a smidge of pride for her little ruse.

The shirt was returned to the laundry pile for additional processing. The suspect remained in the custody of her parents. The parents were not going to press charges initially, but the overwhelming public response to the video prompted a follow-up.

It’s always the quiet ones. To nip this crime spree in the bud, the parents decided to make an example of the tiny shirt thief. A simple judicial trial took place since a jury of her peers was unavailable, and they couldn’t talk anyway. The final verdict: guilty on one count of being a shirt thief. The judges included additional charges for playing pranks and forcing the world to fall in love with her adorable smile.

After the trial, the judges handed down a sentence of hugs and snuggles. Her adorable smile was too hard to resist. Their consciences would not permit them to assign even one minute of solitary confinement in baby jail to the little shirt thief.
