Delicious food is only part of the reason why Ellen Stardust Diner is so popular. This NYC restaurant doesn’t have the kind of waitstaff you find at other places. On the contrary, these talented workers will take your order and belt out Chappell Roan’s Pink Pony Club! The entertainment at this diner is seriously amazing. One little girl, Margo, found herself in awe over her waitress singing I Can Hear the Bells from Hairspray.

Margo was enjoying this performance so much, in fact, that she started to sing along. The singing waitress (Alexis Reise) noticed this, and she was quick to make her way over the the girl. For a moment, the two of them held hands as they sang. But then Alexis truly went above and beyond… she gave the girl a moment with the mic! See their wholesome performance in the video below.

“One day someone is gonna ask her about the moment she knew she wanted to perform and she’s gonna talk about this,” someone writes in the comments, another person adding, “I love girlhood. I can’t see her face but I can just imagine the wonder in her eyes, she probably thought you were the coolest person ever.”
Little Girl Shows Off Her Voice Thanks to a Thoughtful Singing Waitress in This Popular NYC Diner
While Margo’s face isn’t visible for most of the video, it’s clear she’s entirely enthralled by this talented waitress’ performance. And how could she not be!? The waitstaff here, or should I say The Stardusters, are known world-wide for their talent and ability to connect with patrons. Speaking of which, moments like this are why Alexis is oh-so grateful for her job.
“This is why I love my job,” Alexis writes in her post. In the caption, she adds, “Thanks for singing with me Margo.”
