Like in the latter of the aforementioned stories, this story starts with someone hearing an unexpected sound rising from under the ground: barking! In the video below, a man crouches to the sidewalk and begins pulling out a brick. At first, it’s unclear what he’s doing, but then it becomes obvious… something is trapped beneath the street!
As the man continues to dig, a hole slowly forms. Finally, he creates a space large enough for a dog to stick his head through. It’s unbelievable that such a large animal could possibly have been underground!
Who knows how the dog got there. He may have been accidentally bricked in, he may have crawled underneath the sidewalk through some underground crawl space and trapped himself.
Whatever the explanation, he sure is happy that his rescuer stopped everything to save his life!
