Since the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak, we’ve heard plenty about contagion, but this elderly man has a unique take on the concept.
Shannon McCluskie uploaded a short video on TikTok, where he recites a poem about viral spread – but he’s not talking about disease. Instead, he explains how joy tends to spread from one person to the next. “A smile can be very contagious,” he says. “You can catch it like the flu. Someone smiled at me today, and I started to smile too.”
